As we all known, MOST and NSFC have released the first batch of this year’s Belt and Road international cooperation projects which is open to all online, we can seize this chance in promoting the projects we’re most interested in in accordance with the rules and requirements of each project. Moreover, he introduces the orientation, objective, initial plan and seven kinds of cooperation projects of the Shenzhen Base of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area which is set up recently.

Kulmala expresses a keen interest in these projects, he says, The University of Helsinki has established long-term partnerships with companies such as China Mobile and NOKIA in big data research, and in the fields of marine, highland, forest and grassland, they have conducted cooperation with dozens of scientific research institutions on the Belt and Road ecological monitoring system, such as Moscow University, meanwhile, Finland abounds in experts and scientists in the field of high-tech research in which field we can cooperate deeper ad wider. In addition, they also attach great importance to tourism and health, and would like to suggest China-Finland cooperation in these areas.

Cui then introduces the Regulations of International Silk Road Academy of Sciences on Establishing and Managing the Science Centers of International Silk Road Academy of Sciences (draft) and Regulations of International Silk Road Academy of Sciences on the Council of International Silk Road Academy of Sciences (draft). He also says that, at present, the Vice-President (European regions) of ISRAS is vacant, and a candidate should be nominated or recommended as soon as possible. He suggests that Kulmala to be the head of a nomination or recommendation group in promoting this matter through communicating and consulting with ISRAS members who are from European regions.

Kulmala says that he hopes to establish a science center in Finland, and will speed up the establishing procedures in accordance with relevant regulations. Moreover, he would like to take the invitation and make great efforts to promote the nomination or recommendation of the Vice-President (European regions) of ISRAS.
