Dr. Joni Tapio Kujansuu, Research Coordinator (East-Asia), PEEX Project Officer (responsible for PEEX China), Department of Physics, Division of Atmospheric Sciences of University of Helsinki meets with Prof. Cui Weihong, Deputy Director of the Preparatory Office of ISRAS on behalf of Academician Prof. Markku Tapio Kulmala, Head of the Division of Atmospheric Sciences, University of Helsinki on 27th, Feb. 2018.

Firstly, Cui expresses his warm welcome to Dr. Joni’s visit. Secondly, He invites Dr. Joni to introduce that planning of cooperation with us within the framework of International Silk Road Academy of Sciences (ISRAS) Dr. Joni points out that Prof. Markku Tapio Kulmala’s team wishes to cooperate in the fields of renewable resources, food safety and atmosphere, biology, ecology, lake, rivers and water research. He also invites Cui to participate the Aerosol and Haze Laboratory to be set up in Beijing this April.

In return, Cui introduces the 7 domains of cooperation among ISRAS members, and put forwards that we could apply international cooperation projects through Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST), National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSFC) and ISRAS Base. Moreover, he hopes that Dr. Joni could offer more suggestions for the organization and management of ISRAS.

Finally, the two sides exchanges ideas on the development of ISRAS and the meeting has reached a complete conclusion.
