Organized by IEAS (China), the 2018 IEAS Academician Election will be launched on 10th, February 2018. 

It is reported that this year will witness about 15 new IEAS academicians who should meet the basic requirements as follows: 

1. Candidate who plays an important role in his/her research field, and has gained outstanding scientific achievements at home and abroad.

2. Candidate who is young scientist or technical expert and serves in the science and technology community.
3. Candidate who is regarded as distinguished entrepreneur or eminent administrator with academic background.  

According the Constitution of IEAS (China) and the election regulations, each academician can and can only recommend two candidates, and each candidate should gain the co-recommendation of at least three IEAS academicians. It is noted that social recommendation or work unit recommendation is ineffective. The deadline is 30th, June 2018. As to Chinese candidates of foreign nationality, please refer to the same procedure as Chinese candidates may go through.
